Oh my God....!!! am blogging after a year or so... well a lot has happened ..a lot has changed...
i have another little baby (Little V , our baby boy born in may 2016.. yes we are a family of four now.. and we shifted base from Dubai to Singapore... big changes eh??

Anyway i am not a  regular blogger now and i dont blog to compete among the various other blogs... i blog to  note down the experience.. .i blog cos i can recount how i felt trying out a particular recipe...i blog to destress...i blog cos i love writing like i love talking.. i blog as i know there are a few  people who still, yes still ,look forward to some posts from me..  and i also blog because i love taking pics- whether its food pics, jewellery pics(another passion of mine discovered in the last 2 years),pics of places or anything..i love clicking pics..and i also feel that someday my kids may go through these recipes ..they will know  a little more of me..:) ahh.. getting emotional there... okk back here to the post.

So today my recipe is the ever popular brownie..walnut brownie.. for me a bownie without walnuts is imcomplete. My friends tasted it and they loved it,Despite having 4 eggs there was no eggy smell .One of my friends who is a vegetarian made a special remark of this.
These brownies taste great plain but have it warm  with a scoop of vanilla icecream and its heaven.... yumm yummm....
Hoping to be  back here in a few days with another recipe...:)

So here you go..

Ingredients:
crunchy crust,chewy inside..

All purpose flour-1 cup
Melted butter 1 cup(used salted butter)
White sugar-2 cups(i used a little less than 2 cups)
Egg-s 4
Vanilla essence- 2 tspn
Cocoa powder-2/3 cup (used hersheys)
Baking powder-1/2 tspn
Chopped walnuts- 1/2 cup (i added more as we all love nuts)

How i made it?

Preheat oven to 180 degress. Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla. Beat in eggs. Combine flour, cocoa and  baking powder.Gradually stir into the egg mixture until well blended. Stir in walnuts. Spread the batter evenly into the greased pan.
Bake until skewer inserted comes clean. Let cool on a wire rack before cutting into squares.

Note:
If you halve the recipe, you get flatter more original looking brownies.I wanted more quantity so i compromised on the look :)
