Moroccan Avocado Smoothie

Filled with health benefits..that's how i will define this smoothie. This is a smoothie with avocado and figs(anjeer).
The health benefits of Avocado were already given  here.
While reading  more about figs I came to know that fig though considered a fruit is actually an inverted flower and the seeds are  the fruit!!(according to California Fig advisory Board)
Dried figs are also very nutritious and beneficial for our health. Am listing out some of its nutritional and health benefits.
  • They are very high in fiber.
  • Figs contain more calcium than most other fruit.
  • Consuming dried figs can help you meet your daily potassium needs and help lower your blood pressure.
  • Figs are a good source of iron.

  • The soluble fiber, called pectin, in figs helps in reducing blood cholesterol.

  14. Figs are my all time favourite... avocado fig combination is good... I like the blue background but I feel the picture with white background is the best coz of the angle at which it is taken...
